Fresh Berries Milkshake

BERRY AND MINT SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup frozen berries (can also use fresh berries)

1 banana (fresh or frozen)

1 tablespoon freshly chopped mint

1/2 cup water

(Add 1/2 cup ice, if using fresh berries or prefer a more icy smoothie)

METHOD

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend well until all ingredients are well combined.

  2. Serve topped with fresh mint leaves and a few extra berries

SUGGESTIONS AND TIPS;

Fresh basil in place of mint can also be used, as well as using less or no ice and all frozen ingredients instead for a colder, thicker smoothie.

For those who prefer to steer away from the sweeter smoothies, using avocado instead of banana will still give you the creamy texture without the sweetness.
