INGREDIENTS

​

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (an extra few leaves as well for adding after tea has been made)

6 slices lebanese cucumber

1/2 cup ice

1 boiling cup water

​

METHOD

  1. Place mint leaves in boiling water and allow to steep until water colour slightly darkens

  2. Allow boiling water with mint leaves to cool, once cooled remove mint leaves

  3. Add cucumber slices to the mint and water mixture, as well as a few extra fresh mint leaves and ice and serve

​

SUGGESTIONS AND TIPS;

This tea can be stored in the fridge for a later time, also some lemon slices, peppermint leaves or honey can also be added for a slightly sweeter variation.
