INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup chia seeds (black or white or mixture of both)
2 cups your choice dairy free milk alternative (or water)
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 tablespoon fresh or frozen chopped fruit of your choice (optional)

METHOD

Place all ingredients, except fruit, in a bowl and mix until well combined

You can either pour the mixture into individual serving bowls, or into one large bowl and place in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until mixture is thick and creamy.

Place the fruit on the mixture once it has begun to set, or add to the base of the bowl before you add the chia mix over the top. Sometimes it is fun to layer the mix with fruit and chia seed mix

SUGGESTIONS AND TIPS;
You don't have to use milk in this recipe, water works too, it will not be as creamy, but is still equally yummy.
Adding things such as dried fruits, fresh or frozen fruit as well as gluten free granola, seed mix or dessicated coconut can also be a great addition.
